Connecticut Institute For Communities, Inc. (CIFC) is a locally based community development corporation, serving low and moderate-income families throughout Western Connecticut. Since its start in 2003, CIFC fulfills two unique roles as a “safety-net provider” of social services and as an especially qualified “community developer” of programs and projects.
The Early Head Start program is the newest addition to CIFC’s commitment to the region’s children and families. Early Head Start serves lower income pregnant women, infants, toddlers and their families. The program is based in Danbury, as the hub for surrounding communities, and offers a combination of home-based and center-based options, designed to provide early, continuous and comprehensive pre-natal, early child development and family support services on a year-round basis.
The Early Head Start Program provides comprehensive child development services including education, health, nutrition, mental health, disability services, and social services including family and community partnerships.
We now feature a flat bridge floor and flat floor access ramp with rigid hand support as “the standard” when ordering and bumpy log bridge floor and ramp with flexible rope hand support as a higher balance and challenge level option for no additional charge. Shade umbrellas, easy stair access, multiple slides, bubble and tic tac toe panels are some of the other options available.
